I left home at 17 to work as a salesman in a local hardware shop. I didn't know it then, but those years taught me everything. They taught me what customers actually ask for, how suppliers think, and where the gaps in the market really are. In 1975, with a loan of ₹5,000, I started this company on my own.
My first office was a small space on Netaji Subhas Road. Back then, it was just me. I handled the sales calls, did the billing, and made the deliveries myself. I knew every customer by name, and every order by heart, and that's the foundation everything I've built since has stood on.
Our company started with a turnover of ₹10,000 in our very first year. Today, that number stands at approximately ₹20 crore. That growth is the result of decades of persistence and the trust customers have placed in me. And that's what motivates us to invest in better stock, faster delivery, and a stronger supply chain.
We're still building on that same foundation today. We're working on meeting customer requirements better, improving how efficiently we supply, and looking at new markets we haven't reached yet. It's the same approach I started with when I was managing every single order myself, just at a scale I couldn't have imagined back then.

That means keeping a tight check on quality across every fastener and tool that leaves our warehouse, supplying stock efficiently even during peak demand, and matching products to the specific needs of different industries, from small contractors to large infrastructure projects.

Every product that goes out is checked against consistent standards, and every customer conversation is handled with transparency, whether that means flagging a delay early or being upfront about what a product can and can't do. Discipline in these small, everyday decisions is what keeps our long-term business relationships intact.

Looking ahead, we plan to widen our product range and build a stronger distribution network across new regions. Over the next five years, we aim to scale our operations, reach a turnover of ₹50 crores, and strengthen our presence beyond our current markets. Growth for us isn't about scale for its own sake, but about reaching more of the customers who need what we supply, while becoming a more efficient, well-run organisation.
About Our Company
We have spent more than five decades in this business, and if there's one thing we've learned, it's that the people on site don't have time for guesswork. They need the right fastener, the right tool, the right equipment, and they need it now. That's the understanding I've built my company around.
We work across three main categories: fasteners, material handling equipment, and ITM cutting tools. The brands we deal in include Caparo, Ferreterro, HP Fasteners, ITM, and SAI Fasteners. Our customers always get products they can count on because they’re backed by brands that already have a reputation in the industry.
We're based in Kolkata, but our reach goes far beyond it. From small workshops to large-scale construction sites, we supply customers across India, and every order, big or small, gets the same attention to detail that's defined our work since day one.
